Retired Police Officer Carl K. Bell passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the age of 87. He is survived by his wife, Patricia R. Bell. Officer Bell joined the Houston Police Department on September 16, 1957, Academy Class No. 17 and was also a Veteran of the United States Army. During his career with the department, he was assigned to the Patrol Bureau, Jail Division, Radio Patrol Division and the Southeast Patrol Division until his retirement on January 27, 1983. Services were held October 26 in Angleton.
