TREASURER’S REPORT
The motion to accept the treasury report was made by Ricky Brasuell, second by Dan Levine, motion carried. Report is on the table and available upon request.
COMMUNICATIONS
Thank you to Tom Kennedy for being a great part of this organization for over 20 years writing and editing for the Badge & Gun and other stories for this department. You will be missed.
Elections are over and sadly we lost many races locally, but state level did very well.
Prop B is at the Texas Supreme Court, unknown how outcome will go and what will happen after. Combined arguments from city and union running into issues.
ATO has on going fundraiser by using Amazon Smile for ATO.
Family leave is now active but there are still a lot of questions and HPOU is trying to get answers from the city. Many people off currently, 300+. City will be updating policy shortly.
Family Picnic was an extreme success, great job by all involved.
Sunday, January 15th, National University will be sponsoring a movie night for all officers.
