COMMUNICATIONS

Commander Collins is heading up IAD now, lots of changes are coming and everything so far has been positive.  The chief is apparently on board with the changes too.  Paperwork needs to move quicker through the division.  Complaints need to be expedited or dismissed quicker.  Commanders can handle things with training instead of discipline.

The new chief has been working through the changes and many updates to the department are coming.

Suspended cases issue is still ongoing.  There are no new updates at this time, case not presented to ADC.

Please send all recommendations for contract negotiations to Info@HPOU.org

Please give monthly to PAC if you are not already doing so.

Officers in crisis, how can we help? Tell people about the problem. City policy needs to change.  AA meetings have started at union hall.

Shut down rumors and get the truth out.

Resources are there to help all around, but we do not know what we are not told so get information out to those that can help.

The ATO has ongoing fundraisers. Golf Tournament is on October 17th, sign up today. More fundraisers and events are coming up.  Thank you to Tim Whitaker for all you do.
